Dysautonomia International is pleased to announce the availability of up to $800,000 in research grants during our 2022 grant cycle. This funding opportunity is open to researchers in any country. During the 2022 grant cycle, Dysautonomia International research grants will be available to study the following disorders: - postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome - neurocardiogenic/vasovagal syncope - inappropriate sinus tachycardia - idiopathic orthostatic intolerance - autoimmune autonomic ganglionopathies - autoimmune autonomic neuropathies - idiopathic autonomic neuropathies (including small fiber neuropathies) - gastrointestinal disorders due to autonomic dysfunction or autonomic neuropathy - autonomic dysfunction and other manifestations of Long COVID We are also offering equipment grants to help autonomic labs purchase transcranial doppler devices that measure cerebral (brain) blood flow. Reduction in cerebral blood flow has been documented in several autonomic disorders, but the research on cerebral blood flow in autonomic disorders is sparse. We're hoping to change that by encouraging the use of transcranial doppler measurements as part of clinical care and autonomic research. Letters of Intent are due September 10, 2022. |

This is our 10th Anniversary year as an organization. We would love to get that $800,000 up to $1,000,00 to mark our 10 year anniversary. The more funds we raise, the more research we can fund! Can you help us get there by making a contribution today? No amount is too small or too large. 100% of donations to our POTS Research Fund, Dysautonomia Research Fund, and Long COVID Research Fund go directly to researchers doing incredible research aimed at finding more effective treatments, and eventually a cure, for each form of dysautonomia. Thank you for your support! |
