Dysautonomia International and Stony Brook University Renaissance School of Medicine are pleased to present a Continuing Medical Education course on POTS to be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Stony Brook's Medical and Research Translation (MART) Auditorium. In person and virtual registration options are available. The CME course is designed for licensed medical professionals, but we welcome students in the health professions, patients, caregivers and members of the public to attend as well. The course is free for all Stony Brook students, faculty and staff with current valid Stony Brook ID. Registration is required.
Guests will learn from leading experts in POTS and related conditions. After the CME lectures conclude, from 4-5pm, there will be a clinicians and researchers networking reception led by Stony Brook faculty and a patients and caregivers networking reception led by Dysautonomia International's New York Support Group.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This CME course is intended for primary care physicians, cardiologists, electrophysiologists, neurologists, gastroenterologists, pediatricians and other clinicians who are interested in learning more about POTS. Stony Brook students, faculty, staff and members of the public may also register for this course.
ACCREDITATION
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the School of Medicine, State University of New York at Stony Brook and Dysautonomia International.

RECORDINGS ACCESS
All registered guests will receive access to the recordings of the sessions after the live event. Please note, CME credit is not available for watching the recording.
DINING OPTIONS
Light refreshments will be served during the 4pm Networking Reception. We will break for lunch, but guests are responsible for purchasing their own lunch or bringing a brown bag lunch from home. There are many dining options on campus. Au Bon Pain, Starbuck, SkyLine Deli, Marketplace Cafe, and Twisted Treats Frozen Yogurt are all a short walk from the MART Auditorium.

PARKING
Parking is available in the Hospital Parking Garage and a adjacent lot. Please note, there is a $10 fee to park in this garage or lot for the day.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

Suffolk County Transit offers bus service to the Stony Brook Hospital every 30 minutes on the route 51 bus line, which stop at the the Patchogue train station, Ronkonkoma train station and Port Jefferson train station in a 30 minute loop. View the bus route.
