Join thousands of POTS warriors, friends, and family on
a 30-day virtual race to support POTS research, education, and awareness!
JUNE 1 - JUNE 30, 2022
Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2022 Race to Beat POTS! Registrations, sponsorships, and t-shirt purchases are now closed, but we will leave the donation option open on the main page, team pages and individual fundraiser pages. It's never too late to support dysautonomia research, education and advocacy!
Congratulations to our prize winners! Race t-shirts and prizes will be shipped in July.
We invite you to join thousands of POTS warriors, friends and family during the 2022 Race to Beat POTS, a virtual fundraiser held online from June 1st to June 30th. No exercise required! You can run, walk, bike, kayak, wheelchair roll, or chillax on the couch as you raise funds for POTS research, education and awareness! Race t-shirts, and fun prizes for individuals and teams are available.
No running required! Register for the race by creating a fundraising page. Fundraise as an individual or as part of a team. Some people run, walk, or do other activities as part of their fundraising effort, but many others just create a fundraising page and ask their friends and family to donate to a cause that's important to them. There are prizes for the most number of team members, most funds raised, and other achievements. Our goal is to raise awareness and raise as much funding as possible for Dysautonomia International's POTS research, education, and awareness programs. Working together, we can Beat POTS!
Race t-shirts are no longer available for purchase, but check back in for our next event to grab a limited edition t-shirt!

POTS stands for postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, a debilitating autonomic nervous system disorder that impacts over 3 million Americans, and millions of other people around the world. The peak age onset of POTS is age 14, but about half of individuals develop it in adulthood. Many people, including doctors, have never heard of POTS, so people with POTS experience an average diagnostic delay of over four years. There are no FDA-approved treatments for POTS, and many patients remain quite ill despite trying all of the medications and lifestyle changes currently offered.
All funds raised during this event will support Dysautonomia International's research, physician education, public awareness, and patient empowerment programs. Dysautonomia International is the leading 501(c)(3) patient advocacy organization for people with POTS and other forms of dysautonomia.
Individuals who register for the Race to Beat POTS are eligible for the following prizes. Winners will be announced during our post-event celebration, broadcast live on Dysautonomia International's Facebook page at 7pm EDT on June 30th. All winners will also be contacted via email.

A Message From the Race to Beat POTS Co-Founders:
Hi! We are Erin Harten and Taylor Kulp, co-founders of the Race to Beat POTS. After meeting at the Dysautonomia International Conference in 2015, we decided to work together to raise awareness and research funds for POTS.
We are so grateful for all the support you have shown us throughout these last seven years. With your help, we have built a community that is making a difference in the dysautonomia world. We can not thank you all enough for being on this journey with us.
We can not wait to see what our seventh year will be like! Help us beat POTS!
